We always meet at Teaism at Penn Quarter, located at the northwest corner of 8th & D Streets, NW in downtown Washington.
Although adults with ASD have more experience living with the hurdles of their condition, everyday tasks and chores are nonetheless slightly more difficult. Our 8 year old has Aspergers and we use the guide / information you make available to us everyday in our lives -- such as decreasing anxiety, how to prepare for the next year & how others can help us. It gave us a grip on what had seemed so vague before and provided practical how-tos on how to cope with this condition.I am attaching a photo of our son Chance-8 years old and is making progress everyday. I actually summarized what you shared and took my findings to a meeting at school with my sons 7th grade teachers...We have hope and we are excited and we are thankful for your book.Dawn Dunn I hope this reaches out to those who have young ones with Aspergers for this will help answers those "whys and why nots". Two High Fives and a big Hug to you Craig for all your strength in getting this out there to us! Lavonne Sturm, Cheney WAI have found your books both helpful and a big relief on how to help my grandson.Keep in mind too that aspies have strengths as well as weaknesses, just like everyone else on the planet. So even though there are challenges and difficulties there are also strengths that need to be remembered and encouraged.
